The deadline to submit lecture proposals for the 2018 AARC Summer Forum and the 2018 AARC Congress is 11:59 pm on December 31, 2017.

The AARC Summer Forum is scheduled for July 17-19, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. The event is where managers and educators of respiratory care meet for new ideas and strategies.

The AARC Congress is scheduled for December 4-7, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. This is the largest and most comprehensive respiratory care meeting in the world and offers over 200 lectures covering all aspects of the profession.

The Program Committee for this year’s events is looking for dynamic, up-to-date topics that cover all aspects of respiratory care – from critical care to pulmonary rehab, pulmonary diagnostics to education and everything in between! Lectures at these events are typically 35-40 minutes in length.

“If you believe you have a topic that you think is appropriate for either of these events, I encourage you to submit a proposal to present it! In fact, I suggest you submit proposals for multiple lectures to increase the chances you will be selected to speak at the event” explains Tom Lamphere, BS, RRT-ACCS, RPFT, FAARC, Chair, 2018 AARC Program Committee.

Lamphere continues “If you have an idea for a great topic but don’t want to give the lecture yourself, submit it and let us know. If the committee likes the idea, they may find a speaker to present it!”
