Peter Griffin Allen, BSRC, RRT, RRT-NPS, RRT-SDS, RPSGT, RST has been named “Sleep – Specialty Practitioner of the Year” by the AARC. The award was bestowed upon him at the recent 2018 AARC International Congress in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Peter Allen was selected by the Sleep Specialty Section as its recipient for the AARC Specialty Practitioner of the Year Award. Criteria for this award evaluated the nominee’s professional service, leadership, as well as whether the individual has furthered the art of science of respiratory care through outstanding contribution to, or service in, a specialty area of practice.

Peter Allen is a Sleep Lab Clinical Coordinator and Physician Liaison at Main Line Health System located in Suburban Philadelphia where he is responsible for all operational and sales aspects for two AASM accredited sleep disorders centers. He is also a frequent speaker at the annual Philadelphia Sleep Conference which is produced by RTSleepWorld. Congratulations, Peter!
