NovaSom Inc., the home sleep testing company whose backers include TPG Biotech and Johnson & Johnson’s venture capital arm, has filed for bankruptcy with plans to sell its assets to Virtuox for $5.3 million as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
NovaSom sought protection from creditors late Friday afternoon because insufficient cash flow made it difficult to pay its primary secured lender. NovaSom reports assets of $1-10 million and liabilities of $10-50 million. See the bankruptcy petition here.
