Dymedix Diagnostics donated 10 copies of Fundamentals of Sleep Technology, 3rd edition textbooks to a local CoA PSG program, Minneapolis Community and Technical College Polysomnographic Technology. Dymedix is donating the textbooks to support students entering the field as the next generation of sleep professionals.
The Committee on Accreditation for Polysomnographic Technologist Education (CoA PSG) is a committee sponsored by AAST and Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). Its main function is to review applications from programs that plan to provide certificate or associate degree education for polysomnographic technologists, guide applicants during the accreditation process, and formulate accreditation recommendations which are then considered by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Graduates of accredited sleep technology programs are eligible for the registry examinations.
